Doctor Mikaere Glavish was staring in no particular direction as the world continued to revolve around him. His attentions were admittedly divided. They should have been on the girl that everyone seemed to be currently be running circles around. SM-4 had returned from their mission with a rather interesting find... a girl. Come to think of it, it was always a girl. At first glance, she certainly appeared intriguing. The pink hair... the red eyes. They were the sort of things that demanded attention among humans. Of course, that was in addition to the fact that she had been found in a stasis chamber. A chamber that the members of SM-4 accidentally activated. A heavy sigh left Glavish's lips. It was why he would continue to insist that Conway send a capable scientist with each SM Team, to avoid such accidents from happening.
Of course, his attention was divided. Even as Doctors West and Kells proceeded to poke and prod the girl. Certainly better them than he. When it came to bedside manner, Glavish admittedly left much to be desired. But he wasn't a physician. Sure, he knew his way around a human body, organ functions. Hell, he'd proudly brag that he could make Frankenstein a reality, but the living. They needed constant reassurance and comfort. Well, those that were insecure anyway. Glavish would never claim to be in need of such things. But alas, his attention was divided because he was coming.
They probably expected him to be there to greet the man. One great scientific mind to another. Glavish rolled his eyes at the thought. For all he cared, Rodney McKay could an extended jaunt off on an abbreviated jetty. He crossed his arms in front of his chest, his scowl beginning to match his frustration. No, he wasn't going to give McKay the satisfaction of occupying his attention. As he began to turn his attentions back to his immediate area, he could see SM-4's commanding officer Major Whitman. "So, how is she?" asked Whitman.
Glavish sighed audibly and shook his head. "You know, Dottie... you've really got to stop bringing home strays," Glavish said coolly. "Besides, you recall what happened the last time we let someone out of a stasis chamber?" His thoughts quickly went back to how close they had come to losing Black because of Dorane.
Whitman rolled her eyes and started to move away. She then felt Glavish's hand wrap around her arm. "Wait," he said. As she turned to look back at him, Glavish shurgged. He made a few movements which hinted at an inaudible apology, but no words were ever spoken. "Let's just... not make a habit of it, eh?" To that Whitman nodded. Satisfied with the psuedo-apology, Glavish moved back into the fray. "So, what exactly do we know about out pink-haired lab rat here?" Glavish said, with no concern to how the girl would his description of her. While he was interested in what they had learned, he was simply hoping that she didn't have some clever plans for domination of the city in the name of vengeance for how she had been wronged over the sentence. If so, assuming they survived, he'd be the first to insist they blow up the next one on sight.
