Etruscan Cruiser

Overview:
The Information on this vessel type was discovered in the Meropis database. These ships are used by the Etruscan Gods as the main bulk of their fleet. They are clearly capable of carrying a large number of "Zu-Hof" class fighters as well as some "Gal-Kliv" class scout ships. We as of yet, do not know how many ships of this class they have in service. The ship seems to be not much smaller than Daedalus class ships. It possesses green colored high yield energy weapons, though it is not known if they are anymore effective than Wraith weapons. The shots from the weapons have a unique design: they do not look like the pulses released from all other known energy weapons, rather, they emit what appears to be flaming blast. Little is known about its defensive capabilities except it can survive 3 hits from Asgard plasma beam weapons fired from a badly damaged, alternate reality Daedalus (see Atlantis report below), though it will lose weapons capabilities and be crippled. Since the Daedalus arrived after the alien ship was already in orbit in a combat situation, it is unknown how depleted the shield was in the first place. However, the Asgard plasma beam is highly effective against this advanced mothership, and a fully powered Daedalus would probably be far superior in a ship to ship fight.
On The Sun Tzu's arrival at Meropis one such vessel exited hyperspace, notably from a red hue like field which suggests a different form of hyperspace. The crew were able to detonate a nuclear warhead next to the ship's shields, allowing F-302 fighters to exploit the weakness with sidewinder missiles. This alien ship can carry a large group of fighters.The hanger is also protected by a green energy shield. The rest of the ship's systems are unknown.
Tactical Systems:
This class has advanced energy weaponry, shooting bursts of green energy which causes an explosion like effect on impact, and are powered by unknown means.
Shielding capability.
Beaming technology seems to be jammed with regards to beaming aboard their ships.
Fighter bays.
Hyperspace capability, a different version of our hyperspace engine.
Atlantis Encounter:
Further information received seems to indicate that a ship of this type has been encountered before. In 2008 a variant of the Daedulus equipped with an experimental alternate reality drive appeared above Atlantis. The Etruscan vessel (as we now believe it to be) was met by the First Atlantis Reconnaissance Team led by John Sheppard when they became stranded on board as the ship jumped through realities. Mission reports from John Sheppard, Rodney McKay and Ronan Dex seem to collaborate with the findings when the Sun Tzu encountered this ship upon arriving in the Triangulum Galaxy. It is entirely possible that in an alternate reality the Etruscans had colonized Atlantis, exterminating the Wraith and waging war against an alternate Atlantis expedition. The ship was found firing at the Atlantis of that reality leading Sheppard to decide to fire back with the Daedalus' Asgard weaponry. Although the ships weapons were destroyed, it launched several alien fighters. Before the Daedalus was too badly damaged, the drive engaged and it was sent to another reality.
Soon after, as AR-1 was returning through realities the Daedalus was attacked by these fighters again. With the help of the alternate Sheppard, who was piloting an F-302 fighter-interceptor sent from the alternate Atlantis, the Daedalus was able to destroy several fighters.
