So, in case no one noticed, we (the staff), has decided to allow the use of thread templates/fun texts/etc in the OUT of mission threads ONLY.

Ok, so. You liked one of these and everything, but you got a question.

Cass, how do I make it fit my character?! Well, dearest, here's how!

Find the box with the code in it! Highlight that, copy and paste it into the reply box. I will show you with the steps below. I am going to use the SECOND template for this little tutorial.

So Ok. Now comes the fun parts. You copied and pasted the code. Now what?!

Step two:

Locate the modifiable parts. They are the images and colors.

For the purposes of this example, I will use legit images and stuff, just so you can see it. Hmm, I will let one of my characters from another board out to play; Aimee. So. Her playby is Maiara Walsh, and I like a few particular photos of her.

This one will do: ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV5BMTM4Mzg3MTc5NF5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwMjY3NzAzOQ@@._V1_SX640_SY720_.jpg. I will add it into the part that is here:

Step 3.

Ok, Cass. So I've got my pic and stuff, but I HATE your color scheme. Fine! There is a tool I like: www.htmlgoodies.com/tutorials/colors/article.php/3478961/So-You-Want-A-Basic-Color-Code-Huh.htm.

Insert whatever colors you like in the # area, like below.

to make light pink! --------------- So, ok. You've modified the pic and color. Great. Type your post where it says "POST HERE". Put the @name tag for your RP buddy, and any notes you want them to know after the colon! YOU ARE NOW READY TO POST!

Ok, so you picked the first or third template, and my chosen lyrics don't fit. That's OK, too!!

Just as above, find the modifiable codes:

Between the ] and [/div], where it says "i don't want to go to school," type your lyric or line there! And again on the following line. div style="width:400px;text-transform:uppercase;color:#000000;line-height:90%;letter-spacing:3px;"]I just wanna break the rules[/div][/div][/div]. Replace "i just wanna break the rules" with your quote or lyrics! Fill in the rest as noted above, and post that thing!!

Helpful Hints:

-Deviantart is a GREAT place to find a photo! Google images, as well.
-Feel free to use these as you wish, but don't remove the credit!
-The best image sizes is 200x200 or smaller; otherwise it will stretch the page and I will have to ban you for life.
-In the first template, KEEP THE QUOTE CODE on; it makes the nice pretty box and that makes it look streamlined.
-Enjoy and good luck. As usual, if you struggle, I am just a PM away and skype, too!
-Finally, you will not need to add or remove the [brackets]; I only did for purposes of demonstration! The code, as it's noted in the box, is ready to go for Proboards!
