The BC-304 Daedalus-Class Deep Space Carrier
The biggest and finest spacecraft Earth has produced so far.
The Sun Tzu - The fifth of it's kind to be built, The vessel designated to serve the Triangulum project.
Daedalus battlecruiser/deep space carrier.
Daedalus-class Vessels Status:
The Daedalus - Currently on Earth for repairs and refit
The Odyssey - Serving in the Milky Way, Classified Mission
The Sun Tzu - Currently on Earth for repairs and crew change
The Apollo - Currently on Earth for repairs and refit
The George Hammond - Earth Orbit in the Milky Way
The Korolev - Destroyed in Battle with the Ori
Technological Specifications:
Asgard - The Daedalus class ship contains a great deal of Asgard technology, notably its intergalactic hyper drive, shields and beaming technology. The Odyssey, Earth's flagship, is also equipped with energy weapons, an Asgard computer core, and other technologies.
Ancient - The Daedalus class ships also have the same ring transporters as Goa'uld vessels, which are known ultimately to be an Ancient creation. These rings are compatible with rings on-board Ori motherships - as discovered very recently. The Odyssey is equipped with an Ancient Cloaking Device.
Tactical Systems - The Daedalus class carries numerous Mark III and Mark VIII tactical nuclear warheads and a number of railguns. Generally speaking, the primary armament used by the Daedalus-class vessels is the missile complement which is fired using vertical launching systems, with all missile emplacements appearing at the bow of the ship. Unlike conventional vertical launch systems, it is possible to access the loaded missiles from inside the ship, to swap their warheads, or entire missiles. In addition to a thick armor hull that is capable of withstanding brief but intense fire from a Wraith Hive-Ship, the Daedalus class vessels are fitted with advanced Asgard shielding that can defend the ship from incoming hostile fire.
Design:
The Daedalus has notable physical differences from the Prometheus. It is sleeker and lacks the large aft tower. The Daedalus-class also has four additional engine emplacements on each side, making the rearmost part of the ship wider than that of the Prometheus. There is a large square structure on the ship's rear. F-302 bays are located on both sides of the ship, below and out from the main hull along the rear. The Daedalus' shields are also capable of standing up to multiple Wraith Hive-Ships or Goa'uld motherships in combat.
Hanger Bay:
The Daedalus class has a hangar bay on either side, but all the F-302s are kept in the starboard hangar. The Daedalus is capable of carrying up to 16 F-302s, but so far it has only been seen carrying eight so that the other hangar can be used for various needs such as storage of Puddle Jumpers. The hangars come with doors and shields to prevent decompression and expulsion into space.
Fighters
8 x F-302 fighter interceptors
Armaments
32 Railguns
16 VLS Missile Tubes

The Sun Tzu:
The ship is named after the Chinese General and one of the greatest military strategists of all time, Sun Tzu, author of the Art of War, an ancient book on military strategy. The Sun Tzu is the fifth in the 304 series of intergalactic deep space carriers built by the Tau'ri which came into service by the year 2009. It is the first ship to be crewed by the Chinese but later Commander Paul Riley and Major John Hunter were assigned as lead pilots.
The Sun Tzu's first known mission occurred in early 2009, when the Sun Tzu and Apollo jointly engaged the Super-hive on the edge of the Milky Way galaxy when the Hive ship needed to take a brief hyperspace pause. They were, however, unsuccessful in stopping the invaders due to its nearly impenetrable hull. Both ships suffered major damage, with the Sun Tzu faring less favorably than the Apollo. After the Sun Tzu began venting atmosphere, the crew abandoned the ship and boarded the Apollo, which had severe engine damage and was left a month away from the nearest planet with a Stargate. Colonel Abraham Ellis of the Apollo reported the aftermath of the battle to Stargate Command on Earth via a subspace message.
After the battle the Sun Tzu remained in space for several months, awaiting salvage, the damage it sustained deemed too great to be able to repair. Fortunately, with extra funding from the Chinese Government and a dedicated crew aboard the Apollo and the Odyssey working around the clock, a team of astronauts were able to repair the Sun Tzu enough for her to be flown back to Earth for a full overhaul. The Sun Tzu would then be deployed 12 months later to serve the Triangulum Project.
