Eugene G. Fubini Award | Recognize an individual from the private sector who has made highly significant contributions to the Department of Defense in an advisory capacity over a sustained period of time. | |
Office of the Secretary of Defense Exceptional Civilian Service Award | This award was established to recognize civilian employees who have distinguished themselves by exceptional service to the Secretary of Defense or a Component within the Office of the Secretary of Defense. This award consists of a medal, lapel pin, and citation signed by the Secretary or Head of an OSD Component. Subsequent awards consist of the foregoing recognition devices and a bronze, silver, or gold palm, as appropriate. | |

Joint Civilian Service Achievement Award (JCSAA) | "Meritorious service or achievement in either combat or noncombat situations based on sustained performance or specific achievement of a superlative nature but which does not warrant a Commendation Medal or higher." | |
DOD Inspector General Distinguished Service Award | Granted to those who distinguished themselves by exceptional service or contributions of the broadest scope to the OIG or DoD. The achievements or service must be truly exceptional when measured against the position requirements of the individual and should far exceed the contributions and service of others with comparable responsibilities. | |
Army Decoration for Exceptional Civilian Service | A pattern of achievement and excellence, which may have been previously recognized by awards up to and including the Meritorious Civilian Service Award. | |
Army Meritorious Civilian Service Award | "Performance of duties in an exemplary manner, demonstrating unusual initiative and skill, achieving outstanding results, or exhibiting unusual courage in an emergency." | |
