So in my advertising adventures, I came across a statement on another website (NO idea which, but it came up as a sidebar sticky thing). Anyway. I just thought I'd share here, because it's SOO true. 

"Every character you ever write should see itself drunk out of thier minds, head-over-heels in love, utterly terrified, and overcome with joy at least once."

Wow, good quote! I totally agree with that, so much that I'm stealing it and putting it in my signature. Your character should be a WHOLE character rather than a one-dimensional alien killing soldier robot. It makes for much more interesting reading to play around with emotions and story arcs.
