Easter Egg Hunt!

A note from your favorite Graphics Moderator: 

So Erick(Ahrima) and I have been cooking up some behind the scenes mayhem...we had this GREAT idea that we have an Easter Egg hunt? But Cass, this is virtual reality, how will this even work?! 

Well, never fear!! Cass is here to tell you! 

Starting tonight (Friday morning for everyone else!), I am going to hide the image of an egg SOMEWHERE on the board! It may or may not be obvious, and only myself and Steve will know the location (so, obviously, we're not playing). When you find the egg, click the link to claim your prize! Fun stuff, including extra weapons, candy, and badges. The person who collects the most eggs wins a top-secret prize!! The idea is to get people reading and posting in other places than they might normally! 

Good luck, and may the best poster win!! I will be putting a sticky note each day telling you when I've hidden the egg, and it will be updated with the winner!

Am I right in thinking that they vary in difficulty and that if one isn't found after 24 hours it will remain active until found? Meaning we could have 2-3 eggs hidden at any one time!?

As an additional note, please allow up to 48 hours for your prize to activate, for some of them Cass will need to let me know who found it so I can activate something on the backend good luck, happy hunting and I hope you all have a great Easter weekend!

You are correct! If anyone doesn't find it, it remains active until someone DOES (even in October!!!) Yes, some of the things will require staff doings, so sit tight, and we'll take care of you.

Egg number two has been found! Congrats again to a keen eyed Ryan Alexander who managed to find this buried halfway down one of the boards. Not saying where!

Number three will be even harder, and with no hints at all... Good luck all!

Unbelievably, less than one hour after being hidden ... The third egg was discovered somehow!
Congratulations to John Callaghan who found it hidden among the thread about Lilith by Daniel Jackson, you have unlocked a small in-game cash prize of $1000 to spend in the Meropis Shop.

Egg four will be hidden this time tomorrow and we'll have to figure out a way to make it SUPER hard to find. Let me and Cass sleep on it and come up with some ideas you observant lot you...

Looks like Egg Four was discovered hibernating in a thread about Wraith Hibernation Pods! Congrats to the joint winners who are both being issued today's prize of $1000 each.

Egg Five has been hidden, Egg Five has been found before we could post in here! We checked for cheating, and it was hidden away in the weapon requests area. Well done to the finder who won himself a Zat gun! Tomorrow's one will be SUPER hard says Cass. Good luck.

Egg Six was hidden at 9:30 am PST, and found a few minutes later by Callaghan and then, do to a fail on my part, found by Ryan A. again an hour after that!!

Today, egg 7 was found by Ryan A. which means...

The Egg Hunt is now over, and Callaghan and Ryan A. are tied for first place! Congrats to them, and thanks to everyone who participated.

I realize that there were some mishaps, for the next time we do something like this, I will coordinate with one of the staff in the Aust./UK timezones to post an egg or two overnight. I got some feedback on that, and I agree that that part was hard, I do apologize for that, but this was the first time, so we needed a trial and have worked out the bugs, I think!

I hope everyone did some reading/catching up, and got to know a bit more about your fellow characters throughout all of this!

Later, I will post the list with which of the guys won what, and maybe they'll even get a sticky! Steve, if you've got words...
