Hey Guys,

So I used to do some film & T.V extra work when I was bumming around uni-years. Today, I just received this email from Channel 4 (a U.K television network).

Do you ever wonder what it would be like to go on the run?

We are looking for men and women of all ages who are prepared to try and evade capture from a team of expert trackers. You could be going it alone or with family, friends or colleagues, doing whatever it takes to disappear in 21st century Britain.

I won't be applying due to my commitments both to my partner ahead of our wedding this year and to you guys on Meropis! The show requires you to be "off the books" for FIVE weeks from 27th April to 31st May (too soon!) It got me thinking though... What DOES it take to go missing in the 21st century? Vanish into the countryside? Avoid the network of CCTV? Discuss...

Is that the channel that plays Broadchurch?! I'm moving to the UK...in, what, 18 months?!

As far as disappearing, you'd need to go off grid, completely. Build a Uni bomber cabin in the woods, live off of berries and squirrel meat, and never once use your real name.
