Stargate Meropis is a Proboards based, fan created Stargate role-playing game, picking up where SG:Universe and Atlantis left off and running in canon with the Stargate Franchise.
In 2010, an expedition to Meropis was launched from Earth. It took just over a year for them to be recalled for political reasons. It is now 2018, and a new expedition is about to be sent to rediscover Meropis. Armed with the knowledge gained by the original expedition, it is hoped that this time will go better. Some of the original members coming along will see what their 7-year absence has caused in the Triangulum Galaxy.
Coding of this proboards forum skin, plugins, graphics and layouts were all done by Cass (aka Fiona Maccafferty) and everyone at Stargate: Meropis wishes to extend a
huge thank you for all her hard work.
The forum was created around 2008 by Steve (aka Jason Conway) and the episodic format, the initial concept, plots and structure of the forum were all done by him.
Meropis is a living, growing thing and additional thanks goes to Sterling (aka Zodd/Achilles Jones) for military aspects and additional plugins and to Roo and Ahrima for

I'm glad they're recognizing RPs, finally. It's usually business-oriented forums (I follow them on Twitter and FB). Congrats to YOU, Steve! They only award it to outstanding RPs, which means you've done GOOD!
