"Alright, the time is 8:20am and I'm just about to flick the switch on this bad boy and see what happens", Tony says to his hovering recording device he replicated from the design of a Keno. He ran the power up command on the new device he was working on and crossed his toes. God this thing better turn on, he thinks as the machine begins to slowly power up but then just as it gets to 100% power sparks begin flying and it begins powering down but then quickly comes to life.

It stands up on four legs and Tony's eyes light up, "By Odin's beard! It actually worked!", he exclaims as his brand new toy he bought with him stands up and stares at him but doesn't move. "Now to find someone smart enough to build the brains for this thing.. then I can get working on other stuff..", Tony was excited.. this was his next big billion dollar idea that the Stargate Program will eat up like hotcakes. Who doesn't want an automated self-thinking MALP that follows you around on four legs?

OOC: Premise is come in and build whatever, I've got some basic concepts I'll be working on like the Autonomous MALP based off AlphaDog and also a ZPM replication project.

It was only after the machine had powered up that Tony would notice a startled looking Doctor of History standing in the doorway holding an electronic tablet. His jaw having officially dropped he managed to utter a statement of surprise, "Good grief! What in the name of... WHAT is that thing!?" Michael Black listened to Tony's reply as he crossed the room toward the self-proclaimed scientific genius. Holding the tablet out for Tony he informed the man of his visit, "I've been sent here by General Conway. You're all good to go here but you just need to sign the room out to your er.." He looked around the room and adjusted his glasses with a bemused expression, "You're engineering club. I must make you aware that you are your team will be responsible for any and all incidents, accidents explosions, faults or otherwise in this room and that you must take ample precaution to avoid said scenario." Clearing his throat and offering a stylus for the tablet in front of the scientist, with a beaming smile he finished, "Sign here please?"

"That my dear friend is Doggy, say Hello Doggy", Tony says as the machine just stays static and doesn't move and this man in a suit moves toward him. The suited man explains that the illustrious General had sent him to ensure the room was signed out to Tony and his probable gang, taking the time to explain if Tony blew anything up it would be his fault.. If only you knew how much I'm going to blow up in here.. he thinks to himself as he puts a large smirk on his face and signs the tablet and essentially taking ownership of the area.

It was at this point that Doggy decided to become a little self-aware and began bouncing up and down wildly, the man in the suit looked visibly stunned and frightened.. "Well there we go.. took him long enough to get excited.. Thanks for the room buddy".

Aear had been hearing about a new engineering club that some crazy guy with money had set up. Meropis had offered him their hospitality whilst he recovered and he figured helping out with their basic yet somewhat advanced tech would only be fair. Besides it was probably the only hobby he had, tinkering with this and that. Aear rounded the corner find the man in charge and some suit. He didn't really know anyone here yet so didn't know everyone. He spied what could only be called a bouncing robot dog. I want one! he called pointed at the creation. It was too cute to not have one after all.

This was Zach's first opportunity to explore his new home... And boy was he amazed! Never in his wildest dreams did he believe anything like this existed! He wandered around the halls taking everything in. He stopped as soon as he realized he was lost again.... For the tenth time "Alright.... Lets see.... I took a left.... Then a right..... Then down the way..." he mumbled as he back tracked he was so focused that he almost missed the sight of a robot dog dancing on a desk. He reached out slapping his right hand against the door frame to stop and pull himself back. He noticed the other two men in the room but most of his attention was on the robot.

"Cool! Its Dynomutt!" he said as he entered the room, "In the flesh?" He added as he got closer to it. It wasn't until he was fully in the room that he realized he had no clue who these two were... So he figured he'd extend the proverbial olive branch. "Howdy, I'm.... Uhh... Zach...." He said looking between the two men and the robot. He then realized he still had his fedora on his head and quickly removed it out of politeness fixing his glasses in the process.

Good lord this place is getting crowded, Tony thought was he noticed quite a crowd gathering into his space.. "Well I'm Tony Hansford, also known as the CEO, Founder, Inventor, Playboy and all round rich guy of Hansford Technologies and this is Doggy or as he's actually know Quadruped Autonomous Carry-All Surveillance Drone.. or just QACASD", Tony announces as he moves toward the back of the room and presses a button on the door, which in turn opens up the room into one about 5 times the size. "So that's what that button does!", he exclaims as everyone around him looks either stunned or impressed.

"So.. I guess you people will want some workspace? This is all mine.. so you can take that corner there..", Tony says as he walks into the newly opened up space with his eyes wide open with excitement as he kicks his foot against some kind of invisible object.

Aear couldn't help but giggle as the room door opened up to reveal the room hidden behind. It was cute. Nothing like his dimensional folding technology but it did the job he supposed. The guy had almost as big an ego as he did. He raised an eyebrow at the Tony's insistence on having the majority of the room to himself. Sergeant Aear Charter of the Meowtis Special Forces. Co-Founder of MiraTech, Founder of Heaven Smasher Industries, one of the 11 S rank mages in the Empire and did I mention I can fly? Aear retorted, his ego getting the better of him. Is that a working Shades Curtain? he said placing his hand on the invisible object using the invisible whiskers on his hand to build up an image in his head.

Zach nodded as the man introduced himself "Ah..." So that's why he seemed oddly familiar, he probably heard about him at a family Thanksgiving meal, one of the few he actually went to. "Nice to meet ya Mr. Hansfird." He replied with his accent slipping to the front of his speech pattern, usually he could keep it restrained but.. Well... Its not everyday one sees Dynomutt.

He began to look around the room before hearing a wizzing sound behind him, he quickly looked back thinking he bumped into something before seeing the room had grown bigger. His brow furrowed with confusion before realizing what had happened. He looked back at Dynomutt and smiled leaning in close. "Dynomutt rolls off the tongue better." He placed his fedora back on his head as Mr. Hansford claimed the new space as his and they could have the- "What?" he asked looking up quickly. "Oh, you misunderstand, I'm not an engineer." Zach gestured at the room. "I'd be lost in here, in fact that's how I got here,' He wrapped his arm around his body and pointed over his shoulder, "I was exploring and got lost, I'm trying to get back to my room which is.... Well... Somewhere." He shrugged "I just saw Dynomutt and had to step in and see." he finished with a small nudge towards the dog on the table and a glance at the newcomer wondering how he had missed him.

Fiona was getting oriented with her new home. She put one rubber Croc-clad foot forward, but she almost tripped since she wasn't looking. She was concentrating on her tablet-Amelia-her very best friend and her lifeline. With out the small supercomputer, Fee would be a lost soul. It didn't help that she was about the size of an average twelve year old, and everyone else were rather large men. At least, so far. She knew that there WERE women, she just hadn't MET any yet. So yeah. Running smack into some solider's rock hard abs was not only awkward, but PAINFUL. She rubbed her head, and gazed up at the person she'd just ran into. Some suit. Hadn't she left those behind in Colorado? She smiled, and then spoke, her harsh Irish accent, and phraseology filled the hall.

Bloody hell. Some birds are tryina pass. Can I help you, you look lost. She pushed her glasses up a bit, with her forefinger, and then looked at the man. Well?!

But something caught her eye. The cat man! She stepped to the right of whomever this bloke was, and then yelled off after him.

Aear Charter! NAE! Stop! She ran off after him, juggling her tablet and glasses. Where was he going? She followed him, and stopped in the doorway. Her rust colored braid bounced off her cheek as she stood there, her mouth open.

Bloody hell... It was all...well, it were GEEKS. People like HER! She smiled a little, and edged in. She looked like she didn't belong, but oh, boy she did.

Blueberry wandered into the club room. It was almost like being back in high school and joining the Occult Studies club. For the same reasons she was now looking at the Engineering Club, she thought it was going to be quiet and was something she was mildly interested in. When she saw just how many people had turned up however and what they had been up to already she decided that she didn't belong here after all. There was too many people and she was a programmer and data analyst more than anything else. She turned to leave but someone grabbed her arm. She turned and looked at the alien cat man thing whatever this alien was called. She stared at him with mild interest and he just grinned at her. Neither said a word.

"You're like a kid in a candy store Aear." Zach said watching Aear move about the room. "What's a shade..... a shade..... a whatchamacallit?" Zach was so busy watching Aear that he didn't notice the pretty redhead had entered until he thought he heard words beging him. He turned around then quickly took his fedora off and straightened up, after all, there was no harm in respecting a lady. "Howdy ma'am" he spoke before he realized what he had said. Why oh why is that what he said? He managed to keep his cool but promised himself he'd try his best not to say that again without good reason.

After a few moments he was about to place his fedora back in its rightful place atop his head when another woman entered the room. With a small sigh he lowered his fedora back to his side "The curse of having manners." he muttered quietly to himself. this newcomer gave him a funny feeling, he wasn't sure what it was about her, but something gave him a funny feeling about her. It wasn't that he thought she was bad news... It was more just the feeling he got when meeting someone new at the demand of his parents. He looked at her and kept back in his spot near Dynomutt and looked at all the people in the room. "Its certainly getting crowded in here," he stepped off to one side. "And I'm afraid I'll just get in the way."

Fee was standing directly in the doorway, her face still purple, but her mouth snapped shut finally. She was still taking everything in-all thoughts of the Catman now gone, and sheer amazement taken over. She heard a voice.

Howdy ma'am.. Her brown eyes met the man's. She nodded once, and then hid her face behind her hair. She hated being noticed, especially by males, and most especially in non-work-related scenarios. She stepped forward, only to stumble a bit as a goth-looking girl came in. One of the pilots, if she weren't mistaken-part of Fee's job was to record the movements and flight plans of every pilot/cruiser/puddlejumper/other moving thing, so she had a vague idea of who was who on the flight line.

The man spoke again.

Its certainly getting crowded in here...And I'm afraid I'll just get in the way. Fee nodded in agreement, and keeping her head down, she replied.

'Tis a right holy show, for sure. I just saw Aear enter, and someone tell him that he was like a kid in a candy store. 'Tis best not to encourage him. He'll drive you bollocks with it all... She said, her tone one more like a mother tsking a young child, rather than judgemental. She didn't know Aear exceptionally well, but she'd helped get him back to health, so she knew him better than some. Back to the man again.

Fee Maccafferty. What is this place? She reached out and fingered a tool. She wanted to get in there, but would not unless invited.

A Shades Curtain. explained Aear It renders objects invisible but I've been basing it off the IS of the same name and haven't got the photographic invisibility yet. he said before noticing Fee who had chased him down again. Did he really need to be escorted throughout the city? What was she gonna do if he found himself having to go on a hunt?

This crazy lady won't stop following me! he hushed to Zachary half joking. Ok so Aear was being a little hard on her. She pick him up and nurse him back to conscious health. Physically he was fine now, save for the missing arm and dead eye. Magically however his linker core was acting up more than a troubled child on crack. Goddess help him if the KIA sent someone else after him.

Actually seeing how everyone here is of the right toolset I need to make a chima-space communicator and I reckon your... Subspace...? ones will do the trick. said Aear mentally commanding Cyleo to transfer data to everyone else in the room. I figure in theory all we have to do is make it work with that type of energy rather then zero point energy.

[Almeda]

Almeda slowly made her way throw the small space of the ventilation ducts, that she could barely fit inside. She had overheard someone state that sometimes it is best to look at something from different prospective. So she decided to try this in practice by re-exploring the base through the vents. She continued to explore the vents for quite a while. She even peered into several room.

She approached the vent to the lab and began peering into the room, she got quite exited as she saw all the different devices spread out on the tables of the room. She could almost swear she know what a good amount of this devices did or at least have seen them before, though couldn't quite remember it, like a word on the tip of your tongue. She then suddenly pushed the vent cover clean from the wall having it fall to the ground, so that she could get a better look the room. She then poked her head out of the vent, turning to the few people inside. "OH, Hi everyone" she says suddenly with a smile on her face as she began to work both arms free of the vent so she could give a little wave to them all.

The cat man well boy thing looked away first. Blueberry had won here and she wasn't sticking around now that she had. This place was getting too noisy and too crowded. She'd just have to find a quite corner of the base to do her own thing in. That was the plan as she was leaving when the clash of the vent cover caught her ears. Blue stared up at the strange woman in the vent. Dare ka? she asked simply not at all taken by the random stranger crawling through the vent.
