1002 Hours
Meropis City-Ship
Infirmary, Exam Room 2
Maggie sighed. There was a REASON that everyone hated Americans. She listened, rolling her eyes every so often, as Caiden droned on and on.
Well I wonder WHY they think that...You do realize you joined the military, right? It's not the girl scouts... Military in all countries, even in France have rules, just like the US Air Force and the US Military. If that is what you think then I am sure they would discharge you dishonorably instead of shipping you out to the Triangulum galaxy representing the French. Your attitude may be the reason why you think that. I wouldn't consider being out here a punishment, I am definitely booking you an appointment with Dr. Harrison, but yes you are free to go. Yeah,no, he had CLEARLY not read her file. She was a member of the French Navy simply to avoid legit jail time, and they could only discharge her once she'd repaid her debt to society or whatever nonsense the juvenile judge had said. If she'd not been accepted to the Officer's training program, her sentance would be long over, but that had added four more years to her duty requirements, so yeah. She wasn't going ANYWHERE for at least two more years. She sighed, though, and stood to follow Dr. West.
Great. Like Harrison is going to be any help; why do you think I came HERE?Yeah, Maggie disliked that man, as well. But then, who on this planet actually DID like to have their true selves revealed?! Maggie preferred to lie to herself, and it had been workign JUST fine until that moron psychologist suggest she "reset" her life. She should just really go find Ryan and force herself to settle down with boring but reliable. She could learn to like it...right?! Finally, Caiden had her scheduled for later that evening, and Maggie snatched the printout away, and with a deep, sad sigh, she turned around.
[color=magenta}Thank you, Doctor West. She stalked out, and down the hall, ignoring everyone else. She made her way to the Canteen-some shop therapy was BOUND to help, and being on base, the Canteen would have to suffice.
