Stargate Meropis is a Proboards based, fan created Stargate role-playing game, picking up where SG:Universe and Atlantis left off and running in canon with the Stargate Franchise.

In 2010, an expedition to Meropis was launched from Earth. It took just over a year for them to be recalled for political reasons. It is now 2018, and a new expedition is about to be sent to rediscover Meropis. Armed with the knowledge gained by the original expedition, it is hoped that this time will go better. Some of the original members coming along will see what their 7-year absence has caused in the Triangulum Galaxy.

Hey all, as most of you know I am working on my book which is very much like Stargate SG-1 mixed with Star Trek... Not really but its a bunch of different science fiction shows/movies mixed into a book and still different.

With that being said here is the back-story of the text role play game... It is based in an installation of the Earth Defense Force set a few centuries into the future and Installation 07 is the future of Area 51, same location and the same purpose mostly advanced research and development until the gateway (stargate) is found. A team is assembled and ready to go through the gate for the very first mission, this is how it'll start. We have starships and advanced weaponry, equipment, medical supplies, etc... I like to think of it as Stargate mixed with Star Trek mixed with Halo etc...
